Our Team
Anita Stoumbelis is the Senior Vice President of HRx. She began her financial services career in the savings and loan industry in Tallahassee, Florida, and subsequently served as Vice President of Administration Services for SunTrust Bank. Her responsibilities at SunTrust included human resources, regulatory compliance and operations management. Anita has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Florida State University, graduating with honors. She has over ten years experience as a generalist in human resources management, with emphasis on executive recruiting, performance improvement and organizational development. Since coming to HRx in 2000, Anita has focused on developing human resource products and services that credit unions need to survive, thrive and compete in the rapidly changing financial services market. Lisa Hammock is the Solutions Development Consultant and Executive Recruiter for HRx and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began as a teller with First Union Bank and worked her way up through the ranks to a senior leadership position in the Florida Panhandle market. Her responsibilities included recruiting all levels of staff, coaching and training for change management as well as providing leadership to teams of up to twenty people. Before coming to HRx, Lisa worked as Training Director with United Solutions, a credit union service organization. Lisa is certified in brokerage, life insurance, mortgage and consumer lending. At HRx, Lisa focuses on finding the right people for credit union leadership positions and assisting credit unions in developing solutions to their human resource challenges. Liz Aperauch has served in multiple capacities since joining the Florida Credit Union League and FCUL Service Group in 1999. Beginning as a Human Resource Manager, her interest in credit unions and belief that organizations must function as a cohesive system soon had her taking on additional responsibilities. She started by representing HRx, the HR consulting company of the FCUL Service Group, as a Human Resources Manager by selling products and services. Liz soon began providing Human Resources consulting services to credit unions and their employees as a Performance Consultant. Her ongoing research and holistic approach to organizational development has led her to the next step of representing the FCUL Service Group as a resource for comprehensive credit union services. Liz’s expanded role includes the representation of the most recent FCUL Service Group partner, NewGround. Their six core services – Branding, Design, Consulting, Retail Media, Branching, and Culture Development – match very well with the philosophy that one must take a look at the entire organization to determine the most efficient path to success. She continues to manage HRx products and services, as well as functioning as the liaison to the HR/TD Leadership Council of Florida. Liz has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating with honors, and a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University. Her previous professional experience includes retail sales management for a national department store, and mental health counseling for troubled teens and the adult mentally ill. This blend of profit-driven business and social-oriented work experience, along with her educational path, gives her a unique perspective and insight on the particular needs and mission of member-focused credit unions. Ken Spence is the former Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union in Tampa, Florida, and works with HRx as a Human Resources Consultant. Ken spent 24 years at Suncoast Schools in a senior human resources position, responsible for all human resources programs, including training. Suncoast Schools, at $4.8 billion, is the largest credit union in the State of Florida and the 8th largest federal credit union in the United States. With over 30 total years of human resources experience, Ken is degreed in Business, has been an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 1971 and was one of the first members of the CUNA HR/Training & Development Council.
